The species of emphyraes appears in Feathers and Mountain Air. They have common ancestors with other winged humanoids in the realm of Danathia.

- Species name: Emphyrae(Singular), emphyraes(Plural)
- Estimated life span: About 100 years
- Language: Most speak Lymne as their native tongue.
Physical appearance[]
- Size: They are quite tall, but usually stay within heights that would be reasonable for humans. The males are usually 175-200 cm tall, while the females don't come far behind at 165-190.
- Skin tone: All emphyraes have very light skin that often gets a greyish tint. The palest individuals can appear almost pure white-skinned in certain lighting.
- Hair: The species has white hair that can vary from natural white to silverish. As they grow old, the hair slowly turns darker grey.
- Eyes: Yellow, golden or slightly orange(rare) eyes with slit, cat-like pupils. When in hunting mode(more on that in Abilities), the whole eyes glow bright yellow.
- General Build: Graceful and somewhat lean, but powerful. Generally more muscular than the other winged species, the sevgimori, while not losing their beautiful grace.
- Gender differences: Females have smaller wings and slightly longer ears. Otherwise the differences aren't much different from ours.
- Markings: Their bodies are devoid of any birthmarks or freckles. They don't grow much hair either, it is usually limited to their head and nether regions.
- Other distinguishing features: White wings, ears with two points(upper part is slightly darker than their skin color), very sharp teeth and claws.
